 The Black Lake s a large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it.

 The Forbidden Forest, also known as Dark Forest, borders the edges of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry grounds. The forest is a very old place that holds many secrets and houses many creatures, some dark and Dangerous, others friendly.

Quidditch Pitch

 The Quidditch pitch is an oval, five hundred feet long and a hundred and eighty feet wide, with a small central circle of approximately two feet in diameter. At each end there are three hooped Goal posts of different heights, surrounded by a scoring area.

 The greenhouses have statues of long, serpentine dragons running along the peaked roofs. They are home to many exotic and magical plants including some that are extremely rare, difficult to cultivate and maintain, or even dangerous, such as the Venomous Tentacula.
